Burrs 5k Great Run Local takes place every Sunday at 9.30am at Burrs Country Park, Bury.

Event co-ordinator Deborah Cliff recently attended our VIP Launch Event here at Sports Physio UK, Bury. Returning the support, our team ran the event alongside our mascot the Blue Running Man. In sweltering heat, this was no easy task even for our machine - the Blue Running Man!After the event, our team offered injury advice and assisted runners with post-run stretching routines.Last year we heard of record numbers at this event in the Bury Times, and you can see why this weekly event has continued from strength to strength.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with plenty of free parking. To begin, runners congregate beside the entrance to the caravan park and Deborah introduces newbies to the course. With volunteer marshals stationed around the route, runners have the option of completing 2km, or continuing on and doing the 5km.
